My name is Amii and I've been baking, cooking and creating as my job, for years. Hairdresser by trade, and in most recent years a cook in an ece centre i've now turned my love for the above into making special healthy and beautiful creations for our 4 legged friends.

Based in Wellington I'm a mum of 3 human boys, 2 dogs and 2 cats. our OG dog, Duke is who the Barkery is named after.

everything is completely animal specific safe made with Human grade ingredients.

I use no sugars in my dog and cat products, instead opting for minimal amounts of honey if needed.

handmade hundreds and thousands are made using topioca

most dog cookies are gluten free using a mix of rice, oat, buckwheat and coconut flours. occasionally, potato and chickpea flour as well as wholemeal flour are used also. All product ingredients are specified.

Peanut Butter used is Fix and Fogg and is Xylitol free

Sweet Paws icing is used to make the fondant on my fondant cookies and some embellishments. Its a Dog safe, Dog specific product. ingredients: Arrowroot (tapioca), corn starch, Albumen, milk powder, guar gum, corn syrup solids, hydrogenated vegetable fat (coconut), sodium caseinate (milk), Acidity regulators (340, 452) vegetable emulsifiers (471, 481), Titanium Dioxide (E171)

No added sugar Yogurt buttons are used as pet treats, they contain- low fat milk solids, palm kernel oil, yogurt solids, soy lecithin
